The house was very enjoyable and open. Allowed for us all to sit around and have a good time together. I will be looking to do the same next year.

Perfect mountain house! My wife and our 5 kids have been visiting the smokies annually and we all agreed this was our favorite house. Our oldest is 14 and youngest is 5 but they all really enjoyed the evening golf cart rides (our teens rode their Onewheels) around the neighborhood and to the clubhouse. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and paddle boating the pond. We played basketball, hiked the trails and used the pool for a swim. The location was perfect for a day trip to Lake Keowee for boating, we hit Pisgah for a few days, Caesar Head and local trails for a day, we visited Table Rock, Raven Cliff falls and Camp Greenfield. The house was perfect. It was very clean, well stocked, private but also convenient and the grill was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Our stay was fantastic. Perfect location for our plans in DuPont and Pisgah. This home was very clean which is important to us. Communication was clear and easy. There were even toys, books, and games for our son which was an unexpected surprise. The amenities and rental does not disappoint. We look forward to booking again.

Beautiful home!! We would highly recommend this beautiful home! Very clean and spacious for our family of six. The kids really enjoyed playing ping pong, air hockey and the many games, not to mention swimming in the community pool. The deck was so inviting and private. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was in a great location to the many hiking trails!

Mountain Daze is a beautiful multi-level home surrounded by beautiful trees, very private and perfectly appointed. We had three couples and everyone had their own bath. The house leaves you wanting for nothing. I know the bed I slept on in the double queen room was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in that wasn't my own, which really makes traveling so much more restful. The house has everything you could need for cooking or entertaining. The fireplace was easy to operate and took off the chill at nighttime.

The home is near the top of the mountain, so driving up and down the road to get to Mountain Daze can be quite exhilarating, to say the least, but I enjoy a good challenge. Lots of hairpin turns. The community seems to offer so much, but we were in the area for my son's wedding at The Pretty Place Chapel and didn't really have time to enjoy anything offered nearby. Would stay here again in a heart beat if I ever find myself in northwestern SC again.

Great location and great property We had a wonderful experience at Cliff Ridge. The neighborhood is beautiful and lush and convenient to area attractions. The home is very private and the great room was perfect for our family to spend time together. Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving in the mountains! Our secluded mountain house was a great place to relax and enjoy the holiday weekend. A fantastic home with all the amenities enhanced our family feasting and get-together. Beautiful sunrises and fresh mountain air made it all the better. Being close to great mountain hiking and Greenville, SC shopping topped off our stay. Planning a spring return!

Exceptional Spacious and clean. Located in the middle of Caesar's head with hiking galore. We loved the gated nature of the property. Quiet, private community. Nice little lake/pool area down the street. Excellent communication with the owner. Will rent here next visit.

Wow, this place is amazing! This is our first time staying in the mountains. It is so clean inside, had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen (including an instant pot), and felt like home for our family of 6 very quickly. The mattresses were very comfortable (more so than the expensive resorts we've stayed at). Everything we needed was right there.

Our kids loved the garage area where they could play magnetic darts, air hockey, and ping pong. We also played the family board games and the kids enjoyed all of the toys John had in the house. My kids did not want to come home. We enjoyed playing pickleball and swimming at the pool. The neighbors are so kind. Everyone was friendly, waved at us every day, and gave us suggestions for places to visit in the area.

Our family has severe food and pet allergies. John's place is super clean. We would stay here again. And I've already been telling people here at home how nice it is here. The pictures just don't do this house and neighborhood justice.

I really appreciated how John sent us helpful suggestions for places to visit and places to pick up groceries. His instructions were clear for how to get into the neighborhood and the house. He left great instructions for everything inside of the house too, so we had no extra questions during our stay.

Fathers Day family weekend! This property is a winner! We have not been to this area and were so amazed at how close we were to Pretty Place and Caesar’s Head. The house was so nice and clean we had everything we needed for our family weekend! Pictures do not do it justice! Very nice pool and lake to enjoy! I highly recommend staying. Peaceful Paradise Our stay at this cabin was amazing. Plenty of space, well equipped. Amazing living room and decks. Very functional kitchen, bar, and dining room for cooking and serving meals. We brought all of our own food in coolers for cooking/grilling, along with a homemade cheesecake for our son's 18th birthday party. We did a hiking trail from the property. We enjoyed the swimming pool and pickleball court. We also drove to the lookout up the road (Caesar's Head?) and walked the Devil's Kitchen. Our family really loved driving up to DuPont State Park/Forest, swimming at Hooker Falls, and swimming at Triple Falls. Such an epic trip! Thank you for renting your amazing home to us!

Great location with plenty to do. The house is really nice.

This was our first ever AirBnB stay and our first trip to South Carolina! I was a little nervous about it since it was kind of a last minute trip we just threw together. John was super nice and very helpful. We had a slight miscommunication when booking but he called me right away to make it easier than emailing back and forth. After booking he sent us a nice note telling us about some things to do in the area, suggestions on stocking up on food before we get to the house (good idea since not a lot of stores in the area) and detailed check-in instructions. When we arrived at the house, I couldn’t find the key box (my fault) when I called he answered right away and told me where it was and that’s was it. He was there if we needed anything but let us be to enjoy our family time, which I really appreciate. The house was very clean and had everything we needed (cookware, towels, toilet paper and paper towel). Our favorite activities were hiking at the parks, walking through the community (very friendly neighborhood), playing provided board games by the fireplace and enjoying the beautiful deck. Coming from Michigan (a very flat state) it was mind blowing how much character and elevation the area had.. definitely a different driving experience than what we are accustomed to. That being said, only bummer about our stay was I hauled our bikes down not thinking it’s not flat enough to go bike riding in the area. Totally my fault but now I know not to bring bikes to the mountains. 😂 We would love to return one day and either stay at this house again or one of his other properties. Very good experience and would suggest anyone who enjoys the outdoors and beautiful views to book this property. Thanks again and we look forward to another stay!

My family had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend at John's place. The house is very clean with a well stocked kitchen, beautiful porch, and lots of games for entertainment. The neighborhood was quiet and secluded but also had amenities such as a playground, small lake, and access to hiking without having to drive anywhere. I would definitely recommend this house!

Oct 2020 It rained basically our entire stay. We were able to get a couple quick hikes between rain showers. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time in the house. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could want. It even have a pizza cutter! There were plenty of games to play and the furniture was comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.

My family had a great time in the home. We enjoyed the board games and activities in the garage. We liked the location and the quiet, private neighborhood. We received the check in instructions after check-in, but luckily we already knew to grocery shop before getting there. It's secluded and the closes stores are 30 minutes out. The home has everything you need in it, including a fully equipped kitchen.

We spent a few days at John's place. The house is very spacious, comfortable and super clean. The location is perfect if you want to visit various state parks and enjoy the surrounding nature. We loved everything about it.

This cabin is amazing! Check in was a breeze and the owners were very nice. Everything was so clean and welcoming. There are so many trails and things to do around the cabin. If you’re looking for a great getaway with family or friends, this is the place to go!
